The result was that the vote, al- ways carried at these meetings favoring! the continuance of the strike, was never j an expression of the will of a majority of the strikers, but rather of the minority, minor-ity, who were determined to continue the demands made upon the company for abolishment of the proposed workmen's compensation insurance plan. The de- j moral izal ion of even this faction came tonight, to-night, however, when more than two-thirds two-thirds of those present voted to return to work. |
