The following fol-lowing official communication was issued tonight: j Artillery actions took place on a great part, of the front, particularly on tlie plateau of Nouvron, where we concentrated a very effective fire on the enemy organize tions. In Champagne the cannonading has again been very violent on both sides in the region of Talmre and the Butte I tn Mesnll. In tlie Vosgcs. to Ihe south of f,usse, our tren'-h guns demolished a blockhouse block-house and shelters of the enemy. The Belgian official communication reads: Calm prevailed last nig lit. Fumes, Ramsey pelle, Pervyse. Rouesi'amtne and Caeskerke. were bombarded todav. to-dav. Some projectiles were directed agai nst our advanced posts and at various point along our lines. |
