TO DEBATE QUESTION OF PRISONERS FOOD County Commissioners Will Change Method in Vogue if It Can Be Done Legally. The county commissioners will meet today to debate tho question of changing chang-ing the Kystcm of feeding prisonors at the county jail. They propose to take the matter ' out of the hands of the sheriff, unless the county attornc' rules that it cannot be done legally. At present the commissioners arc considering tho advisability of employing employ-ing a purchasing- agent to buy the food and have tho bills como through the county commissioners for approval instead of allowing tho sheriff so much per diem for each prisoner and sanctioning sanc-tioning tho pocketing of any saving out of this allowance.
