J, Murrlsh. says that while definite plaivj hivo been established for the now enterprise, yet tho site for the new reduction works has not yet been given out. However, it has been learned that tho plant will bo located about 0110 mllo from Wlnnemuoca, near tho banks of tho Humboldt river, where thero is an assurance at all times of the year for an abundauco of water for all purposes, besides be-sides being in close proximity to the railroads, rail-roads, whero fuol and ores can ho handled han-dled at a nominal cost. The objcot of Lho company will be to ongagc in mining, custom milling, sampling, sam-pling, buying and soiling- or oro. and the management will bo In a position to investigate in-vestigate new discoveries and take bonds and leases on properties of merit. Tho company owns two full mining claims on Wlnnemuoca mountain, adjoining- tho Winnomucca Mountain Mining company's property. It has a contract to treat tho ores from the property of tho Wlnnemuoca Mining company, a bond and lease on the Bonanza Mining, company's com-pany's ground, known as tho Shlvely property, situated at tho north end of winnemucca mountain. Tho now mill will bo of thirty-five tons daily capacity and the sampler to h erocted in connection will not only be used by tho company In the purchase of ores, hut ores In transit will be treated as well. There is at present but one sampler In the state of Isevada, and that Is located at TTazen, on tho Southern Pacific railway. rail-way. Winnomucca will bo a more central cen-tral point for the handling of ores, especially espe-cially for tho northern section of Nevada, Ne-vada, and an Ideal location for a custom reduction plant, as tho town Is on the linen of tho Southern Pacific and the Western Pacific railroads, with all probability prob-ability of another railroad entering this town from the north. |
