IS, It was decided today to-day at a meeting of Unionist members of tho house of lords and tho house of commons com-mons that the peers should support the motion of Baron Ampthlll for an Inquiry Into the charges brought by the newspapers newspa-pers of the purchase of titles by subscriptions subscrip-tions to parly funds. This will bo done at tho resumption of the debate tomorrow In the house of lords on the scandal connected con-nected with thg purchase of Marconi shares by members of the cabinet. This course means the adoption of the motion by the douse of lords, but It Is anticipated that, tho government will refuse re-fuse to participate in the inquiry on the grounds that there has already been one Inquiry. |
