Most of the men captured selling cheap jewelry aro men who aro drunkards and do it to obtain moncj-to moncj-to buj' moro "booze." They will buy the jowelry for a few cents and then pick out some country "gent," tell him a hard-luck story and sell tho jewelry for various prices, according ac-cording to how cleverly they can tako tho man in. At 5:35 o'clock Saturdav afternoon, Detective Price arrested W H. Price, a bricklayer, 4S j-ears old, and put him in tho city jail on tho charge or violating the license ordinance.
