Show Manti Personals'. Special to The Tribune. MANTI, Oct. 10. Guy Nelson of j Ferron came to town Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Nelson, Miss Camilla Nelson and Mr. and Mrs. Peter. IT. Madsen left Friday for Emery county to visit relatives. Miss Bertha Leonard and Miss Mary Thomas entertained a number of their lady friends Friday evening. Born, to Mr. and 'Mrs. Fred D. Smyth, a baby girl on Sunday last. Caleb Tanner, state engineer, mado a business trip to Manti Friday. Mrs. Mary Phillipps of Long Beach, Cal., came to Manxi Monday in answer to a telegram informing her that her mother was dangerously ill. Miss Frances Madsen, who has been visiting with her sister in Ferron tho past, six weeks, returned Wednesday. Mr. John Alder, who has been quite ill. is able to be around again. The ladies of tho Literary club are busy getting ready to entertain the State Federation of Women's Clubs, which is to be hold hero October 21, 22 and 23. About fifty delegates are expected. ex-pected. Dr. G. W. Martin and wife went to Ephraim Saturday to attemi the funeral services of Mrs. George Quinn. |
