ASKS FIFTEEN THOUSAND FOR DEATH OF HER SON Mary Hongaard filed suit against tho American Smelting and Refining company com-pany in tho third district court Saturday Satur-day asking for $15,000 damages for tho accidental death of her son, Melroy Uougaard, 19 years old, underneath ono of the defendant company's smoltcr cars the night of July 20, this year. While Uougaard was transferring material ma-terial from ono track to another tho defendant, it is alleged, ran a car down upon him in tho night, producing fatal injuries. Negligence, in that the' car that struck Hougaard was not provided pro-vided with a light to warn him of its coming, is charged.
