Show ROUTINE BUSINESS OF BOARD OP EDUCATION Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Oct. 10. Business of only a routino nature engaged tho altontiou of the board of education at its regular meeting held Saturday. Two of the members, M. S. Browning and W. H. Williams, were absent. The regular monthly report showed a balance of $4597.70 cash on hand. The receipts for the month of September, according to tho report of the treasurer; wero $11,444 against a total of disbursements amounting to $11,272.45. Upon the rccommondalion of tho teachers' committee', Miss Ella Ballard and Miss Alice Pardoe wero appointed teachers in the city schools, to bo assigned as-signed later. The board authorized B. II. Cannon, supervisor of manual training train-ing at tho high school, to conduct a night, class for thoso pupils who are unable un-able to attend iu the day. |
