Changes in Track. Tribune Special Sporting Service. BALTIMORE, Oct 10. Persons who havo not visited PImlIco since last May will find many changes when the fall meeting opens October 24. A new steeplechase steeple-chase course, new atables, new Jockey board apd timers' stand are some of tho changes. And not the least of the improvements im-provements is tho condition of tho track Itself. Many tons of sand havo been spread on the track and worked in by Superintendent Brcnnan, so that now the track can bo worked In any sort of weather weath-er and tho red clay has almost been lost sight of. A new chute at the six-furlongs polo has been built, bo that now fourteen or fifteen horses may be started at that point and will run for 100 or 150 yards straightaway with only a slight turn into the back stretch.
