JEDDETH GRANT GETS THIRTY DAYS IN JAIL Jcddeth Grant, who was arrested about a month ago on the chargo of obtaining ob-taining goods under falso pretenses from a house on Commercial street, was j arraigned before Justice of the Peace Dana T. Smith, Saturday forenoon, and sentenced to thirty days in the county jail. Tho complaint against Grant was brought by Clco Starr, who testified that Grant came to her house and bought wino and other liquors nnd gave in payment for tho goods checks which proved worthless.
