GLIDDEN TOURISTS MEET BAD ROADS IIARRISBURG, July 13. The first car of thc Glldden tour to reach Harrlsburg was No. 17, which arrived at 1:02 o'clock this afternoon. Car No. 15 was second, at 1:01 o'clock. Then came four contestants con-testants for the Hower trophy, Nos. 110. 109. 100 and 112. In close order. At 2:15 there were but thirty-two of the fifty-nine cars In, many having experienced ex-perienced bad roads. The tourists came from Bedford Sprlngs: leaving at 7 a. m. todny, at which time the first car was scnL off and tho other cars followed at Intervals of one minute. min-ute. It was thc worst day of the tour for Ihc contestants, as tho road3 were In bad condition. In many places the cars were obliged to plow through mud and water almost hub deep.
