Show j NEWS Of M'CAMMON 1 Special to The Tribune. McCAMMON, Ida., July 13 Home talent tal-ent held down the boards at the opera house Thursday evening to a good-sized audience. The play was "The Power of Man." and was well presented. The local company Is planning to put on another play In a few weeks. The harvesting of the dry crop grain In this section will begin next week and the farmers will be as busy as bees for the next several months to come. The crop will exceed any other that has been harvested har-vested In this section. Many fields will average forty bushels of wheat to tho acre. The Portncuf-Marsh Valley Irrigation company is planning to have its big Carey Act land opening held at Downey about August 15. It promises to be as successful success-ful as any other ever held in the Stato of Idaho. " The company Is doing preliminary prelim-inary work to start construction on the ' big reservoir and dam at the head of I Toponco creek and expects to have the water on the 20,000 acres to be reclaimed by next fall. A ten-pound boy was born July 4 to Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Jensen at Robin. Ida. The happy father resides at Cheyenne, Wyo., being a mail clerk on the railroad, i Ho has asked for a thirty-day lay off to visit with his Fourth of July present. |
