Nathaniel Williams, who is under bouds for trial in the District Dis-trict court on a very serious charge of misconduct with several girls of tender years, went before Justlco Noon today and swore to a complaint against Hyrum (HIto) Loveless, charging him with assault as-sault and battery, allogcd to have been committed' Saturday evening. When at home, Loveless lives In Huntington, Emery Em-ery county, but at the tlmo that Williams Wil-liams was arrested was in Idaho and knew nothing about Ills own daughter, 13 vears of ago, being one of the girls Involvod with Williams. On his return home ho learned tho particulars from his wife. Loveless then wont on a still hunt and ll is said would havo dealt harshly with Williams had not Sheriff Harmon Interceded and prevented trouble. It Is said Loveless merely took hold of Williams Wil-liams s coat and asked him If he was the j inun who was charged with ruining those young girls. Loveless, when arraigned before Justice Noon, entered a plea of not guilty and his hearing was set for Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. J. B. Hlldebrand was given a preliminary prelim-inary hearing before Justice Noon today on a charge of obtaining ihoney under false protonses from a lady In Colton. The offense was committed two years ago and Hlldebrand was apprehended only a few days ago and brought here from Colorado, where he had Just finished serving a term In tin- Colorado State prison for a similar offense. .
