Show VICE-PRESIDENT CLARK MAKES PERIODICAL VISIT J. Ross Clark, second vice-president of tho Salt Lake Route and president of the Las Vegas and Tonopah railroad, rail-road, arrived in Sail Lako City Monday Mon-day morniug, and for several hours was in conference with W. II. Bancroft, vice-president of tho Clark road, relative rela-tive to business connected with tho line. Mr. Clark, who is accompanied by Mrs. Clark, dined witli W. S. McCor-nick McCor-nick Monday night, and this morning he will leave by special train for a trip over the Leaminglon cutoff, returning re-turning by way of Pr'ovo, where he may give "some attention to (he sito of tho proposed hew depot, at the Garden City. Ho will return to Salt Lako this evening, when he and Mrs. Clark will leave for tho Kasl. An effort was made late last night to interview Mr. Clark at tho Knuta-ford, Knuta-ford, but tho information was givon out that ho was only makiug ono of his periodical visits and that Ihcro was nothing for publication. |
