OCR Text THREE GOOD LEDGES ON COMBINATION GROUP The Combination Leasing company, which is working the block pn the Combination Com-bination acreage locally known as the Nazro lease, arc taking out ore which will run better than fifty dollars to the ton. George B. Jaques, who is in charge of the work, is authority for this statement. There are already twenty-five twenty-five tons of this ore on the dump. tThe men are working at a depth of fifty-five fifty-five foet, where they are drifting on the ledge toward the east. The values aro held in the ledge for a distance of three feet across. The same characteristics character-istics of the heaviest values being found adjacent to the hanging wall obtains ob-tains here as it does in other parts of the camp, and includes tho exceedingly rich seam of white talc. The ledge on which the men are now drifting is paralleled to the south by another ledge at a distance of about fiftoen feet, while a third ledge parallels paral-lels the first about ten feet away. Thus there aro three parallel ledges running across the ground within thirty feet. It is the same system of ledges which the Round Mountain Mining company are tunneling into or. their side ol the line, and they aro getting out some very excellent ore. Mr. Jaques has opened up all three ledges on tho surface, and lie will begin crosscutting north and south from the bottom of tho shaft in order to strike them.
