Schafer began the service of an eighteen months' sentence in the State penitentiary Monday for tho crime of adultery. Schafer was convicted in the Second District court last week. Judge Howell imposed the sentence sen-tence Monday morning and Deputy Sheriff Clark, accompanied by his prisoner, went to Salt Lake In the afternoon. The woman with whom tho crime was alleged to havo been committed is being held at the county Jail awaiting trial for the same offense,
