Show OGDEN COUNCIL TALKS OF WATERWORKS PURCHASE Special to The Tribune. OGDEN. July 11. After an hour's executive ex-ecutive session at which the proposition of the city purchasing tho waterworks I system owned by the Ogden Waterworks company was discussed, the regular meeting meet-ing of the City Council was held. Attorney J. E. Bagley appeared and staled that tho revision of the city ordinances, ordi-nances, which work was let to hlra and Valentine Gideon three months ago. was completed with the exception of the P;oP- er Indexing. He suggested that the City Council meet with him fropi time to tlmo and go over the work and submit suggestions sugges-tions and corrections as needed. It was decided to hold the first meeting next I Thursdav night and as often thereat tor i as possible so that the work can be passed upon and delivered to the printer for publication pub-lication as early as possible. Payrolls for the half month, amounting to $3M1'.5S, were approved and ordered paid. Claims from the several departments depart-ments of the city, amounting to ?4lUS 1, were also allowed. |
