HERDS OF ELKS GATHER IN DALLAS CONVENTION DALLAS, Trx. July 13. Tho annual convention of the Benevolent and Protective Pro-tective Order of Elks began tonight with addresses of welcome. Los Angeles and Detroit are apparently appar-ently tho only candidates for the 100D convention. It was but a few hours after daybreak day-break that the steam siren of tho Los Angeles delegation, placed on tho roof of the Southland hotel, began to toil tho gathered thousands that Los Angeles An-geles sought the next convention.
