Thomas Sibyl Cook, Roosevelt, and Kelcey Thomas Jr., Weir, Mississippi, were united in marriage April 17 at the Uintah Uin-tah Basin Area Vocational Building in Roosevelt. Stanley Womack Jr. performed the double ring ceremony. A reception honoring the newlyweds followed. Sibyl is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack H. Cook, Roosevelt. Kelcey Jr. is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kelcey Thomas Sr., Weir, Mississippi. The bride chose a princess style taffeta taf-feta dress with a long train. It was accented ac-cented with white lace appliques down the, front. She wore a waist length veil -flowing from a jewel crown. ' As maid of honor she chose Myra Cook. Annette Abercrombie was a bride's maid and Hilary Abercrombie was the flower girl. They wore yellow eyelet dresses with ruffled collars. The mother's dresses were full length made of old rose crepe. Best man was Mike McCullock and Robert L. Abercrombie and Mont L. Copk were ushers. Marian McCullock was at the guest book. Stacey Rich and Linda Leonard gave the bride a linen shower at the home of Virginia Felter in Vernal. Myra Cook and Annette Abercrombie gave her a miscellaneous shower at Annette's home. The couple will be living in Wyoming for the summer. In the fall they plan to move to Monroe, La. where he will finish school at Northeast University, where he plans to earn his engineering degree. |
