Show - J ( 1 ' . MRS. ANN L. ROBERTSON died of a heart ailment at the home of a daughter in Salt Lake City. Funeral Services Held In Salt Lake For Pioneer Impressive funeral services were conducted at the Granite 5th ward, LDS chapel, in Salt Lake City, Monday, April 23, for Anna Laura Lau-ra Syddall Neilson Robertson, 71, who was pronounced dead on arrival ar-rival at a Salt Lake hospital Wednesday Wed-nesday evening, April 18 of a sudden sud-den heart attack. She was stricken strick-en while visiting at the home of her youngest daughter, Mrs. Leo (Cozette) Pignanelli, 975 Autumn Ave. Born Aug. 8, 1884 at Monroe, Sevier County, Utah, to Henry and Alice Cockrell Syddall, she was married to Raymond' A. Neil-son Neil-son in 1901. They were early pioneers pio-neers in the Uintah Basin and very active in the community and civic progress of Eastern Utah's early years. He later died and in 1938 she was married to Hyrum A. (Gus) Robertson in Salt Lake City. Active in the Granite 5th ward Relief Society she was also a charter char-ter member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, holding a number of positions in the auxiliary organization. or-ganization. She was flag bearer of the post with which she was affiliated, at the time of her death. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Raymond W. Neilson, Salt Lake' City; Royal A. Neilson, Santa Clara, Calif.; Mrs. Israel (Lela) Fackrell, Howell, Utah; Mrs. Vincent M. (C'.ea) Sumner, Price; Mrs. Ruel (Bernice) Ed-rington, Ed-rington, Roosevelt; Mrs. Max (Alberta) (Al-berta) Llewellyn, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Earl (Laura) Wright, Mrs. Leo (Cozette) Pignanelli, Salt Lake City; 21 grandchildren, 11 greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Phoebe Hemingson, Gunnison; Gunni-son; Mrs. Walter (Lovina) Wood, Driggs, Idaho;, one' brother, William Wil-liam Syddall, Price. Burial was in the Roosevelt City cemetery where brief graveside services were conducted under the direction of the Roosevelt ward bishopric. |
