Show 7 r NEW PRESIDENT of the Du-.chesne Du-.chesne P-TA is Lorin Stevenson, Sheriff of Duchesne County, who was elected last week. County Sheriff To Lead P-TA Next School Year Lorin Stevenson, Duchesne county coun-ty sheriff, was elected president of the Duchesne P-TA Monday night at the final P-TA meeting of the current school year. He succeeds Mrs. ELma Lundgren. Other officers elected are: Mrs. Mildred Smith, vice-president, to succeed Mrs. Miriam Young; Mrs. Maxine W. Burdick, secretary-treasurer, secretary-treasurer, to succeed Mrs. Mildred Carman. This year's nominating committee commit-tee members weTe Mrs. Hildur Barker, Richard Johnstun and' Allen Al-len T. Bond. The new' president and vice-president vice-president have been named delegates dele-gates from the Duchesne local to the state P-TA Convention in Salt Lake City on April 25 and 26. Farrell J. Humphreys read the tabulated results of the March meeting round - table discussion, treating the five questions under the topic "What Schools Should Teach and Do For Our Children." |
