Show ATTENDED FUNERAL Among those attending funeral services in Salt Lake City Saturday Satur-day for Otto Johnsen, Sr., age 81, were' Mr. and Mrs. John Goodrich, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Goodrich, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Goodrich, Louis Goodrich and M. Verona Winkler. Mr. Johnsen died at his home at 1 a.m. following a short illness. Born April 6, 1875 at Strommen, Norway to Carl and Martha Olsen Johnsen, he married Jorgine Har-monsen Har-monsen in Norway. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They came to Utah in 1907 as converts. They made their home here in Bluebell for several years. Survivors are: Mrs. Esther Gee and Mrs. Martha Thorsen of Murray, Mur-ray, Mrs. Ruth Broadhead and Otto Ot-to Johnsen, Jr. of Duchesne and Mrs. Gudwin Wathen of Lehi; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Burial was in the Murray Mur-ray cemetery. A large crowd from Bluebell attended at-tended stake quarterly conference at Mt. Emmons on Saturday and Sunday. Elder and Mrs. EIRay Christiansen, assistant to the Council of the Twelve, and Walter Lawrence of the welfare, were the guest speakers. |
