Show Work Day All Relief Society members are invited to attend work day May 14, at Roosevelt for a demonstration demonstra-tion of rug making. A pot-luck lunch will be served at noon. Bishop and Mrs. Golden Collins, Mr and Mrs. Ernest Betts, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Scholes and Mrs. Mary Collins went to Vernal on Tuesday to attend the funeral services of Mrs. Sarah Rudge. Mrs. Rudge and Mrs.NCollins had come from England about the same time, and for a long time had lived neighbors in Measer, and had been great friends down through the years. Mrs. Beatrice Lundberg presented present-ed the Social Science lesson on Tuesday, April 24. Vionne Par-rish Par-rish will present the' Literature lesson May 8th. Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Merkley and sons visited with Mr. Mer-kley's Mer-kley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Wil-son Merkley in Duchesne on Saturday. Sat-urday. ' After spending one week in Salt Lake City Blaine Einerson and two daughters Diane and Janet have returned home. Her girls are now staying at the' Bill Brisbin home. Mrs. Einerson recently under went a serious operation at the L. D. S. Hospital. The three small children are being cared for at the' home of Mrs. Einerson's sister, Mrs. Marvin Tippetts. .The students at the Alterra school enjoyed a splendid lyceum program Friday morning. Earl Winn took his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Lonie Winn to Salt Lake last week where Mr. Winn could receive medical care. Mr. and Mrs. Arlo McDaniel went to Tooele to spend the week end with Arlo's parents. Miss Marion Gardner was home over the week end from Denver Colo, to visit her father and two sisters. Glen Broderick came out from Salt Lake City on Sunday to take his wife and children home after they had spent a week visiting Mrs. Broderick's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Rasmussen. Mrs. Broderick had been ill while she was here. Max Gardner, now of Salt Lake' City, was a caller at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Sprouse on Saturday. 'Mrs. Von Haslem visited with her mother, Mrs. Sarah Norton, at Lapoint on Friday. Mrs. Norton has been ill again. Mrs. Amy Warthen of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, spent Sunday visiting at the' S. A. Brighton home. She also attended Sacrament meeting in the evening with the Brighton family. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph O'Neil I made a trip to Price and back on Thursday.
