Show Chorus-Band Concert To End DHS Music Activity A chorus and band concert will-climax will-climax the school term activity of the Duchesne High School Music Mus-ic Department Monday night, May 7, at the school gym. This musical program will begin at 8 p.m. and the public is invited. Both the 60-voice junior chorus and the 70-voice senior chorus will sing. A variety of music will be played by the 55-piece senior band. The Band Mothers will sell home-made candy at the concert. The seventh and eighth grades are in charge of ticket sales to the concert, to raise funds to pay the share of the class fund debt which was allocated to them. Money from the sale of the first ten tickets by each class will be credited to the music department fund, the second ten ticket sales will be credited to the class fund. Money from more than 20 ticket sales of each class will be divided equally for the music department fund and the class fund. Tickets are 500 for adults and 35 for students. The concert will be held in observance ob-servance of National Music Week which begins May 7, states Reginald Regi-nald Burchinal, music department instructor who will direct the concert. |
