Show ORGAN RECITAL TO FEATURE SHELDON HEAPS AT USH MAR 21 Another fine musical treat is being planned for school patrons of Union High School, as well as to the general public, as a part of the 1956 commencement program on May 24. According to Loman F. Hutchings, Hutch-ings, principal at Union, the Glen Brothers Music Co. of Salt Lake City, will again bring one of their organs to Roosevelt for this particular par-ticular event. (Continued From Page 1) the outstanding organ artists in the state, who will play a 30-min-ute concert prior to the processional proces-sional and the regularly scheduled program. Time of the concert will be from 7:30 to 8 p.m. and the public is invited. The appearance of Mr. Heaps and the electric organ is being arranged by John Koldwy, Glen Brothers' representatives in the Basin. This is the second year Mr. Heaps has appeared on the commencement com-mencement program. He will play the processional in addition to the half-hour concert, and supply background music while the diplomas dip-lomas are being presented to the graduates. Wednesday, the student body was entertained at a musical program pro-gram presented by a chorus for the Springville High School. |
