Show Randlett Mrs. J. E. Jensen Church Notes The course 12 Sunday School, class attended the movie "The Kettles in the Ozarks," Monday evening. Harold Dudley and J. E. Jensen took the group in their cars. Mrs. Ivy Chandler presented the social science lesson Tuesday at Relief Society. Mrs. Donna Pickup took the Lark class to the home of Mrs. Alice Wall Tuesday during Primary Pri-mary time. Mrs. Wall was th" Ihonored "Lovely Lady!" Punch and cookies we're served to the group. Primary officers and teachers attending stake Primary preparation prepara-tion meeting Saturday were Donna Pickup, Jennie McMullin, Nellie Harris, Lula Dudley, Viola and Irene Jensen. High Councilman Owen F. Bur-gener Bur-gener of Roosevelt attended all of Sunday's meetings here. Speakers at Sacrament meeting Sunday afternoon were, Ervin Jorgensen and Lamond Tullis of Vernal. Mrs. Tullis and small daughter attended meeting here. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Harrison of Roosevelt rendered two musical selections, "I Know The Gospel Is True," and "Prayer Perfect." Mrs. Harrison accompanied at the piano. Fahy Durfee, Ivan Rogers, Jess Jensen and Herbert Harris were released from the Sunday School. Austin Wardle was sustained as Sunday School superintendent, with Oliver Jorgensen first assistant as-sistant and Jess Jensen as second assistant, with William W. Wilson Wil-son as secretary. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wall and son Teddy accompanied their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Wall of Vernal, to Salt Lake City, Saturday, where the two Mr. Walls did' temple work. The Walls visited at the home of a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Wall of Salt Lake. The Trail Builder boys and the Sea Gul.l girls received special first aid instructions and were shown what to do in case of an accident, by a police officer Tuesday Tues-day at Primary. The following people visited Sunday at the William Chandler home: Mr. and .Mrs. Klin Sheffer and five children, Mr. and Mrs. John Pullis and four children, all of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sheffer and daughter of Vernal Ver-nal and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Turner Tur-ner and two children. Primary Supervisor Glenn Old-royd, Old-royd, Henry Wopsock and A. Call visited at the Avalon school Thursday. Thurs-day. Mrs. Marian SheLton and son, Duane spent Wednesday visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen. J. P. Stevens returned to his home in Salt Lake City Tuesday morning. Public health nurse, Helen Stevens Stev-ens of Vernal was a visitor Friday at the Avalon school. Sunday visitors at the John Young home were: Mr. and Mrs. Harold Nelson of Orem, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Young of Vernal and Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Young and family. Vernal visitors Saturday we're Mrs. - Ivy Chandler, Mrs. Leona Turner and Mrs. Vera Wildner and daughter, Elva. Mr. and Mrs. Morton Chandler of Salt Lake City spent Friday visiting at the home of Mr. Chandler's parents, Mr. and' Mrs. William Chandler. Miss Betty Hatch of Vernal, spent the weeeknd visiting at the home' of Carolyn Stoddard. Mr. fhd Mrs. Blake Peay, Jr. and children of Provo, visited here the fore part of the week. |
