Show COAL COMPANY ORGANIZED WHICH WILL BE PRODUCING 500 TONS DAILY OY AUG. 1 j Organization of the Superior Rock Springs Coal company by Ogden capitalists, cap-italists, who plan tho immediato de-eIopment de-eIopment of coal properties at Superior, Su-perior, Wyo has been perfected and the companv has been incorporated in Wyoming with capital of $500,000. M. S Browning has been chosen as president of tho company; R. B. Porter Por-ter and W. H. Wattis are vice presidents, presi-dents, and L. T. Deo secretary-treasurer The other directors are Mar-nner Mar-nner Browning, G. L. Becker, IT. C. Daj , F. N Ulotchcr and W. Wright. II. C Marchant, formorly with the Lion and Wyoming Coal companios, has been elected general manager, and L. A. Hay will bo superintendent of the properties. Thirty houses are being constructed in the town of Superior, in tho Rock Springs coal district, for tho coal mine camp, and every arrangement Is being made so that coal can be shipped about August 1, on which date eighty men will be employed and coal mined at tho rato of 500 tons a day. The corporation hns purchased 800 acres of coal land from the United States government at $400 an acre. The general offices of the company will be opened In tho David Ecclcs building. |
