Show jj i WHY ITALY ENTERED THE GREAT CONFLIST WASHINGTON, May 25. Italy is fighting for tho same principles and ideals in this war that President Wilson Wil-son laid down in his war address, said Vittorlo Falorsi, attach of the Italian war mission, in an address to the National Na-tional Press club tonight. The kingdom king-dom would have been a traitor to civilization, civil-ization, he declared, if it had not joined join-ed the allies. "Italy, the moment Austria declared war on Serbia," said M. Falorsi, "denounced "de-nounced the alliance which bound her to Austria and Germany in full conviction con-viction that her former allies had embarked em-barked on an aggressive war which was "not contemplated in that defensive defen-sive alliance. For nine months she hesitated to know if she had the legal right, in accord with that treaty, to take 'up arms against her former allies, al-lies, and when the people learned the real terms of article seven of that treaty they simply swept the government govern-ment into hostilities. "Some people say Italy is not fighting fight-ing in this war.
