Show JEERING MUST STOP. During the parade last evening, a group of youngsters made slighting remarks re-marks which were overheard by members mem-bers of the Home Guards. Had the guards rounded up the boys and made a public example of them, the disgrace would have been a serious ser-ious reflection, bearing on the rearing and loyalty of the disturbers. During the war period, no more insulting in-sulting act can be committed than to belittle in any manner the flag or those who are earnestly and to the best of their ability laboring to up- hold all that the flag stands for. |
