Show K H M FOB IRE BRIGHAM TROOP BRIGHAM CITY, May 26. With the addition of nine new men to tho Brig-ham Brig-ham cavalry troop tho company for this city is now an assured fact, and tho work of recruiting to war strength is going on each day under the supervision super-vision of Lieutenant Wm. C. Stark of tho local recruiting office. The local lo-cal recruiting committee, which Is. headed by Representative Wynn L, Eddy as chairman, is working hard with the recruiting officers in completing com-pleting the work at an early date, and meetings in four of the principal towns In eastern Box Elder coupty have been arranged for next week. The total enlistments in the troop now number sixty-one men and the officers of-ficers have the names of many others who contemplate joining within the next few days. The officers contemplate contem-plate completing the troop before the end of next year. The following schedule of meetings has been arranged arrang-ed by Lieutenant Stark: Afnnflnv. Thursday, May 31, Bear River City Speakers, Judge Call, Hyrum W. Valentine, Williapi J. Lowe, t r rj0. burn, Wm. C. Stark and Homer Holm-gron. Holm-gron. The troop quartette will accompany ac-company the speakers on the tour and furnish tho musje. |
