Show CUBA'S CROP OF SUGAR IS LARGE H NEW YORK, May 25. This year's H Cuban sugar crop will bo approximate- H ly 2,S00,000 tons, according to an of- H flcial statement issued by the Cuban B government in Havana and made pub- H lie hero tonight by the republic's news 1 bureau. Compared with last year's record crop, this year Is said to show H a decrease of only 5 per cent. h "This showing," the statement said, H "proves that production will be far Hj greater than was recently forecast, H though less than originally estimated H by 600,000 tons.
