Ji Two other high-class cars were also in tho lead. Tho Studebakers carried H five passengers each and about 1,000 0 pounds of baggage. The distance trav- eled between San Francisco and" Og- I den was a little more than 900 mllesj and it was made in five days. I C. S. Richman and J. F. Gurley drove f the Studebakers and they stated yes- i tcrday as they started on their jour- ncy east that they had encountered j no trouble at all as far as the cars I were concerned.
