Show oo OLD HIT DATES BACK 10 ill, OF 1884 Contesting a judgment that was given during territorial days of Utah, in November of 1894, J. W. Thatcher and R. W. Sloan today filed tholr answer an-swer in a 'suit filed against them by H. R, Franklin in the district court. Tho dejandants claim that the plaintiff plain-tiff has no right to amend the origjnal complaint in the case, holding that the judgment of November 26, 1894, was not valid, but that a judgment of November 11, 1902, for $1316.14 and interesfSwas valid and has been satib-fied satib-fied 'byale of certain lands in Salt Lake county. On April 17, 1917, the right was given giv-en in thdjllstrict court to amend tho original complaint, this stop practically practical-ly reopening the case.
