Show TAXPAYERS APPEAR BEFORE BOARD OF E01IZAT1 Five hundred taxpayers of Weber county appeared before the county board of equalization during the first two days' hearing on assessments, according ac-cording to figures submitted to the county commissioners this morning when thoy opened the third day of such hearings. Commissioner Moroni Skeen, who has been on the equalization board for several years, said that the number was considerably lower than previously. previous-ly. Commissioners Ensign and Brown both expressed the belief that tho number of requested changes In assessments as-sessments would not be as great as before. This opinion was supported by the fact that very few applied during dur-ing the morning hours for hearing as to their taxation questions. |
