Mr. Carman is a business man of ability and is an automobile man from A to Z, having been connected with the automobile business since the time of the one and two-lungers. fie associated himself with tho Overland Ov-erland lino in tho spring of 1910, when ho had charge of Colorado, Wyoming Wy-oming and parts of Nebraska and New Mexico. He covered that territory for fivo years, with headquarters at Denver. Den-ver. He was then sent to Aberdeen, S D., whore for a year ho had charge of a part of South Dakota, North Dakota Da-kota and Minnesota. In July, 1916, his company sent him to Salt Lake City, where ho has sinco had charge of contracts and sales for Utah, Idaho, and parts of Wyoming, Novnda and Oregon. As soon as high school is out In Salt Lake, Mr. Carman will move his family here and become a permanent resident. In an interview with Mr. Carman yesterday, ho said: "I havo been closely associated with the members of the Browning Auto and Supply Co. since last July In doing do-ing business over Utah and Idaho and I wish to state that I have never met j men of more honor or business integrity. integ-rity. When the vacancy occurred in the management of the Ogden company, com-pany, by the resignation of Mr. T. S Browning, I am free to state that I lost no time in accepting the position and I am justly pleased to be associated associ-ated with the company. "In taking up the management of the business hero, I expect to continue con-tinue with the same business principles prin-ciples and while we are in business for financial gain, wo are going to try not to take a dollar of any man's money mon-ey for which we do not give value received." |
