The Berliner Tageblatt, ; a copy of which has been received ' here, describes a big fire In the Moabit! : freight station In Berlin. The fire started in a railway car and spread j rapidly. There were repeated explosions explo-sions of tanks of benzine, petroleum, ! oxygen and hydrogen, says tho news- i paper, and great destruction was i wrought to the sheds and the goods in them and also to some army consign- ! monts. The Berliner Lokal Anzelger prints ! a dispatch from Breslau saying that the small town of Osjory, near Groeno, has been destroyed by fire. A fire in tho railway station at Stot- tin, near Halle on tho Saale. says the Telegraaf, resulted in the destruction of a quantity of baskets used in the forwarding of fruits and vegetables. This newspaper adds that there also has been another fire in a basket fac- i tory at Halle and that incendiarism is suspected. |
