A young gent called Kremer clipped the wings "of Harry Wolverton's bat-sling-ers here this afternoon by pitching the Oaks to a 5 to 1 victory. Up to the seventh Kremer was embroiled in a hot slab duel with Spider Baum, who had allowed but onorun. The score stood one--all when the-trans-bay boys came up to bat. Two hits scranmbled together with some costly booting netted net-ted Howard's crow four counters. Baum should have had hotter luck. He allowed but six hits, while the enemy slabster dished .out nine. Most of the Seals' clickers came, however, when they counted for naught.
