Show undersigned within 30 days commencing on the day after the sale and announcement an-nouncement of the high bidder. Within the 30 day period immediately 1 following the 30 day preference period, the preference right claimant must submit proof that on the last day of the 30-day period, he was the owner of whole title in fee of the contiguous lands (43 CFR 2711.4). Contiguous owners will not oe able to assert their preference rights to any land for which bids are not received. The Government Govern-ment has the right to reject all bids. A right-of-way thereon for ditches and canals constructed by the authority of the United States, Act of August 30, 1890, (26 Stat. 391, 43 U.S.C. 945); 2. A reservation to the United States of all mineral deposits in the lands so patented, and to it, or persons per-sons authorized by it, the right to prospect, mine, and remove such deposits from the same under applicable law and such regulations as the Secretary of the Interior may prescribe. Bids may be made by a principal or his agent, either personally at the sale or by mail. Bids sent by mail will be considered only if received at 300 Booth Street, Reno, Nevada 89509, prior to 1:00 p.m., on October 23, 1978. Such bids must be for all the lands and include the cost of publication and must be by certified check, post office money order, bank draft, or cashier's check payable to the Bureau of Land Management. The envelope must be sealed and clearly marked in the lower left-hand corner "Public Sale Bid, N-5809, Sale Date: October 23, 1978, at 1:00 p.m." Personal checks or cash are acceptable from bidders present, at the sale.
