Show 1 Popular Musical "Pippin" opens Saturday then tor tickets, These season passes cost $'J and are now on sale at the box office. SUSC students will Ik-Kiven Ik-Kiven a $1 discount on tickets for "Pippin". High school students will receive the same discount. All students must have their activity cards when buying tickets. "Pippin", the popular musical about a young man's search for happiness, will be presented Saturday at Southern Utah State College. Tickets for the Pioneer Memorial Theater Foundation presentation are available at the SUSC box office. Tickets for the one-time performance can be obtained ob-tained by contacting the SUSC box office, 586-4411, extension 234, from 1-5 p.m. weekdays and from 1 p.m. until curtain-time on the day of the performance. Curtain-time for the professional performance will be at 8:15 p.m. in the SUSC auditorium. James Prigmore, musical director for Pioneer Memorial Theater, is the play director. Jon Buffington, a TV and film actor from San Francisco, Fran-cisco, plays the title role. "'Pippin' is the story of theEmperor Charlemagne's youngest son and his search for happiness. It is a warm and wonderful play which provides audiences with an evening of pure entertainment," en-tertainment," Gary Mclntyre, SUSC theater department chairman, said. The broadway musical follows previous Foundation performances of "Sleuth" and "The Misanthrope" which have been presented at SUSC. Tickets are$3 if purchased before October 14 and $3.50 if purchased on the day of the performance. The price of admission is included in SUSC season |
