Show Funds available for Kolob Study The Utah Water Resources Board has appropriated $100,000 for a feasibility study of the Kolob water project. This study will determine how many residencies would be served, treatment needs, environmental en-vironmental problems, and rights of way. The Kolob water project is one of three water projects in the state which received funding for studies but not for construction. Other water projects in Utah did receive funds for construction purposes. According to Paul Gillette of the Utah Water Resources Board, the board will consider construction of me Kolob project only when the results of the study are known and if those results show that construction would be successful and warranted. The Kolob project ranks among the lowest three of the top ten water projects. |
