Show Two charged with Marijuana Possession Two Cedar City adults were arrested last week in a drug raid that netted marijuana with an estimated street value of over $2500.00. Police Chief Douglas Bolton and three officers served a search warrant at 531 West 400 South in Cedar City that resulted in the arrests of Vicki Siler, 30, and her nephew Andy Siler, '20. The two were charged with possession of a controlled con-trolled substance with intent to sell. According to the police, approximately four pounds of marijuana were confiscated con-fiscated in plastic bags in quantities valued at $55 and $35 per bag. Also taken from the residence in the raid were paraphernailia used in marijuana consumption, suspected hashish and implements used in the packaging of marijuana, the police reported. Police Detective Roy Houchen stated that the arrests were the culmination of an investigation that was begun about one year ago. Both persons arrested were released from custody with Andy Siler posting $2500 bond. |
