The city council will consider a contract agreement at Its regular regu-lar meeting Friday evening, and may or may not accept the offer now before the council. "The proposal of our company will give the citizens' of Cedar City much better service," Mr. Rowberry said, "but if an agreement agree-ment is -reached with the applicant appli-cant Friday, or before we have a chance to prove what we can do, the better type service wiU be denied local citizens for many, many years. We feel that it will be a tragic mistake if the council finally decides this matter Friday. Fri-day. We urge the Mayor and council not to act too hastily," he concluded. |
