Show 4-H Members In Utah Win, Trips TRIPS to Chicago and the National 4-H Club Congrcrs, Nov. 27-Dec. 27-Dec. 1, have .been won by two V'tah 4-H Club members who reported re-ported exceptional work In the 1955 National ltread Demonstration ana food rreparation programs. Dezzle Clegg, 21, of Heber, a 4-H'er for, nine years, has been named the state 4-H Food preparation pre-paration winner. The Kelvinator Division of American Motors Corp. will be her host at the National Na-tional 4-H Club Congress. Dezzie cooked and served 698 meals, 790 separate dishes, and 408 baked products during her club career. She learned to plan, select and prepare nourishing foods through 4-H work. She carried six other projects and gave 20 demonstrations on food subjects. Her food exhibits won her three blue ribbons at county and four at state fairs. Dezzle belonged to three clubs, one, led by herself, and the others by Lucille Slles and Jean Montgomery. She spent three years at lirigham Young University Univer-sity and participates in athletics, band and debating. She belongs to K.H.A. and teaches in Sunday School. This year she was president presi-dent of the 4-H leaders council. Standard Stand-ard Brands Incorporated is providing pro-viding her trip and a 19-Jewel wrist watch. Louitse and her team partner, Patricia Dahlo, demonstrated how to make butterscotch pecan rolls. Louise has made 76 exhibits on her project and won several major awards. Sho has been a member of the Wee Kan 4-H Club of Weber county four years. In her project work, Bhe prepared pre-pared 23.-i dishes, canned 2S3 quarts ot food, and froze fruits, vegetables, meats and baked products. , Her mother, Mrs. George Wliite.
