Show Christmas Concert Preparations In Advanced Stages The date for the annual Christmas Christ-mas Concert at the Parowan High school has been set and preparations prepara-tions are well underway for this affair, according to LeNoir Asay, head of the music department at the school, which presents the concert. The concert will be presented on Sunday evening, Dec. 18 at 8 o'clock in the hieh school audi torium with the public and pat-1 rons of the school invited to at-1 tend. The concert will be presented by the groups in the music department, de-partment, including the band, the girls chorus, boys chorus and the mixed chorus, and wiU feature fea-ture mostly Christmas music with one or two exceptions. Also featured fea-tured will be a piano quartet and a trumpet quartet and a girls' vocal vo-cal sextet, Mr. Asay states, with other numbers by individuals and ensemble groups. Last year a similar program was put on uy ine music utijari-ment utijari-ment and it was received so well that it is now planned to make it an annual affair to usher in the Christmas season in the community. |
