Recipients Recip-ients and their prizes in both the annual Biff Fish contest and the contest on the widest spread and mor,t points in the deer hunt this season were assembled by the sponsoring Wildlife Federation recently. Kneeling, left to right, are Dee Cowan, first place winner in the most points contest, con-test, 13. He won the Dacron sleeping bag which was contributed by Hamilton Sporting Goods. Dr. Rymal Williams is behind another sleeping bag which he won for his deer kill with a 33 in. spread; in addition, he is holding onto a $50.00 check from the Federation for capturing first place in the big fish contest this past season. The sleeping bag was donated by Endsley's Western "Auto, and Paul Cason, second place winner in the most points contest is in front of a Coleman Stove donated do-nated by L. M. Jones Equip. Standing, left to right, is Boyd Bladen, recipient of the folding camp table, bottom left, donated by Bradshaw Firestone, for winning third place in the most points contest with a total of nine; Michael Higbee is holding a combination fly and casting rod as winner win-ner of the junior division big fish contest, and Kelsey Taylor, third place winner in the wide spread contest, won Coleman lamp, bottom right, with 33 VH inches. Missing from the picture is Lee Clark, Parowan, winner of the widest spread contest, con-test, 34 inches. He won a $75 cash prize given by the Federation. |
