Show ENOCH AND MIDVALLEY ROTES By Cora Murie Mr. and Mrs. Victor Redding and three sons from Hawaii are spending a week or two with the Raymond Christiansen family. Mr. Redding is a brother of Mrs. Christiansen. Mr. and Mrs. Gaylen Matheson and baby of Layton spent the Thanksgiving week end with Mr. Matheson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Evan Matheson. Miss Margene Johnson of Dc'ta visited with the Ivor Jones family fam-ily this week. Young people who came home for the Thanksgiving holiday were Barbara Grimshaw, who is attending the BYU at Provo; Dil-worth Dil-worth Armstrong, who is attending attend-ing Henigar's Business College in Salt Lake City; Aurella Jones, who is teaching schoo,' at Granger; Gran-ger; Richard (Bud) Halterman, who is teaching in Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Kent Anderson and baby, Keith Anderson and Arlan Grimshaw of Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Olene Hatch and children spent the week end in Parowan and Enoch. Mrs. Hatch is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C-nrwrra Ti r!pirvicVi aw r llainh has been teaching school at Kanosh for a few years, but has moved to Fillmore to teach. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hafen of St.' George visited with their daughter, Mrs. Jennie Davis last week end, after which she and her three sons accompanied them to St. George. Mrs. Maud Jones and daughter Beverly spent Thanksgiving dm with her daughter Elsa and family fam-ily at Enterprise. Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson and baby of Salt Lake City spent Sundav with Mr. Anderson's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Anderson. And-erson. Mrs. Anderson plans to visit for a week with her nnr-jents. nnr-jents. Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Taylor Tay-lor at Parowan. Mrs. Roland Anderson An-derson accompanied them home from Salt Lake City where she had been to care for Mrs. Anderson And-erson and their new baby. Men folks of the Enoch Ward gathered Saturday to help a neighbor, Dee Wilcken, with construction con-struction work on his now home. Mrs. Emilv Pickens and dauch-tor dauch-tor Nancv of Bountiful. Miss Linda Lin-da Adair and Dale Stevens of Salt Lake City, were visitors at the riome of Arellia Petty, llrs. Maud Jones and Mrs. Kachell Jones. Mrs. Pickens is a (laughter (laugh-ter of Mrs. Petty and the others are grandchildren. The play "The Five Little Bells' that the MIA presented Saturday night r'fased the large crowd that attended. William Grimshaw, who is working the temple at St. George returned home Monday because of ill health. Mr. and Mrs, Leonard Haight spent Thanksgiving day at St. George with their daughter Lois, and family. A baby girl was born on Thanksgiving day at the St. Mark hospital in Salt Lake City to Mrs. Nancy Murle James of Bountiful. Mrs. James is a sister sis-ter of Earl Murie. Mrs. Elaine Nelson is attending attend-ing the Farm Bureau convention In Salt Lake City. Mrs. Nelson is president of the Iron County Farm Bureau Auxiliary. Mr. and Mrs. Doug.'as Gilliam and family spent Thanksgiving visiting in Ogden. |
