Entertains State Officials At Installation Rites Cedar Chapter 20, Order of Eastern Star, held its regular semi-monthly meeting at the Masonic Ma-sonic Temple Nov 28 with Mrs. Raymond Wilson, Worthy Matron, presiding. I Grand officers present at the meeting included Georgia B. Roach, Worthy Grand Matron; Bill Ross, Worthy Grand Patron; Elsie R. Jones, Grand Marshal; Orien R. Farnum, Grand Chaplin and Dorothy Gale, Grand organ-1 ist. These visiting grand officers were present to conduct the installation in-stallation of new officers of the Cedar Chapter for the coming year. Officers Listed Those installed included Ber-niece Ber-niece Lewis, Worthy Matron, and Frank Anderson, Worthy Patron. Other officers were Pauline Wy-coff, Wy-coff, associate Matron; Sanford Schmitt, associate Patron; Shirley Mason, secretary; Geneive Quinn, treasurer; Clara Junge, conductress; conduc-tress; Thelma Gutheil, associate conductress; Marie Bunill, chap-lin; chap-lin; Matilda Bieflerman, marshal; Lela Wilson, organist; Nedra Larson. Lar-son. Ada; Margarie Durand, Ruth; Deanna Wong, Martha; Marjorie Arrowsmith, Electa; Velma Lundgren, Warder; liar-land liar-land Durrand, Sentinel, and Marie Endsley, trustee. Other guests at the impressive installation included Lois Ross, Grand Elector; Marie Endsley, Grand Ruth, and brothers Frank Farnum of Radiant Chapter No. 12 of Salt Lake City, and Rulon E. Jones, Marion Chapter No 14 of Ogden. Following the installation two organ selections were played by Lela WL'son. Following the program pro-gram everyone gathered in the reception room where delicious refreshments were served by Fred LaFrentz, Harl Durand, S. A. Schmitt, and Velma Lundgren. Preceding the meeting a banquet ban-quet was held at the Far East Cafe honoring the Grand officers. |
