Show Ifiss ' Sidney , Reading Sparks H.S. English Studies (Editor's Note: This is the tenth in a series of articles introducing new teachers in the Cedar City. Schools this year. It is sponsored by the Iron County Education, Association in cooperation with this paper.) Miss Sidney Reading is a native na-tive of Montpelier, Idaho. She. signed up with the Iron County' School system fresh from her graduation in humanities and, sciences from the Utah State Ag- ricultural College at Logan in June. I Following her graduation from1 high school in Montpelier Miss Reading attended the Brigham Young University and later moved mov-ed to the USAC campus where she received J" ;r bachelor of science degree. WhUe on the AC campus Miss Reading was active in school government serving as student body vice president. In addition she was a member of he Kappa Delta sorority and Alpha Nu, honorary fraternity. Miss Reading is now instructing instruc-ting English at the Cedar City High School. In addition to her school activities she has' become highly active in the LDS church at the Cedar Second Ward. She is teaching in the Sunday School department and is co-drama director dir-ector in the YWMIA. j MISS SIDNEY READING |
