Show Auto Service Helps Presented Independent Dealers Indepentent garagers, service station operators and attendants from Cedar City, Hurricane, Enterprise, En-terprise, Mlnersvillo, and Iron Mountain were in attendance at a meeting held at Bradshaw Chevrolet Company last week. Purpose of the meeting was to familiarize mechanics with General Gen-eral Motors products and to explain ex-plain services available at the Bradshaw Chevrolet Co. Stoney Grant, Dale Knowlden and Joe Banks, representatives of the Chevrolet Motors Division of General Motors were in attendance attend-ance at the meeting to explain service problems and to show a film on the "Fireball," the first gas turbine auto built and tested test-ed in the US. The Fireball, it was explained, Is purely an experimental ex-perimental model. At the meeting of Independent operators special door prizes and gifts were given away. Wilford Ashton, owner and operator of Wilfs Auto Service in Hurricane won a folding picnic table; Dan , Davis, owner and operator of Dan's Service in Minersville, won a fishing creel; Mel Arns, owner and operator of Arn's Auto Clinic Clin-ic In Cedar City, won a dip net; Ted Cox, Southern Utah Power Co., won a portable refrigerator and Ken Heyborne of Columbia Iron Mines won a dip net. In addition to garagerfien and service station operators employees em-ployees from companies using General Motor products were In attendance. |
